The highlights of Paris in a day

One day is barely enough to get a taste of this two-million people city. Come discover the most famous sites of Paris, and learn how to become a true 'Parisien'!

We will be going to the Montmartre hill, where we'll see the amazing church of the Sacred Heart and walk on the footsteps of famous modern artists such as Picasso and Modigliani. 

We'll also go marvel at the Notre-Dame cathedral, wander in the unsuspected side streets, enjoy great views over the Seine river, and discover the neighboring fancy Saint-Germain des Prés district. Picture-takers will be thrilled.

If you're into art be prepared: on our bucket list is the largest museum in the world! I mean the Louvre of course!

And, as a trip to Paris would not be complete without paying your respects to the iron lady, we'll go see the fabulous Eiffel Tower, and we'll try and understand what it is doing  there!  

NB: the tour does not include going up the Eiffel tower. If you wish to go up, we can include tickets and the guide will leave you at the entrance of the tower at the end of the tour, so you can go up the tower after the tour.

How to become a Parisian hipster

The Parisian hipster is its own kind and has its own name. 'Bobos', the bohemian bourgeois, are supposed to know where to shop, where to eat, where to party, or where to see the latest art in town. Come live the bobo life for a couple of hours! We'll see where to find trendy second-hand clothes and where to party on the nicest vibes, discover where true hipsters buy their condoms, wonder at amazing street art works, check out some of the coolest bars and the best picnic spots along the Saint-Martin canal (yes, picnics are a thing in Paris!).

Montmartre, the legendary district of Parisian artists

Montmartre is known for its village-like atmosphere, as well as for its major influence on the modern art scene. Renoir, Van Gogh, Picasso, so many of the top-notch European artists of the late 19th and early 20th century lived there. Discover how Montmartre became a hot spot of avant-garde painting, walk along its pretty cobblestone streets, see the last surviving vineyard of Paris, explore the flamboyant church of the Sacred Heart, and enjoy one of the most amazing views on the city.

The Marais, the all-time fashionable district 

Today the Marais is THE hot spot of the gay community. But how did it become the lively area it is today? 

If you want to discover the old Paris, you must spend some time in the Marais. Indeed, the neighborhood hides some of the city's oldest buildings, and is known for its many facets. As we go back to its origins you will get to discover how it went from being a swamp to homing the richest noble families. On the way we'll discuss the importance of art for the neighborhood, the history of the Jewish community’s long-time presence, and understand how a vibrant gay life blossomed in this one-time decrepit part of Paris.
