Mexico City downtown has a lot of stories and secrets to share, every street and corner here hides something that we'll discover. Lovers, heists, floods, treasures, heirs and more. Surrounded by an incredible atmosphere, full of unique heritage from different times. From the Aztec temples to the XX century functional architecture. Which gives shape and life to the throbbing heart of the best-known as "The City of Palaces".

I think this place, means a lot to everyone in this country, in this city. It is Mexico's heart definitely. Every happening, for better or worse, has gathered the whole country here. Many traditions, uses and customs had appeared through its streets and the people who had lived here. Since I was a kid, I remember coming here and experience the cultural display, that only downtown has, flavours, colours, music, and a contrast between all the people from all races and countries. The downtown makes no distinction everyone is welcome here, because its the place were all roads end.

Chapultepec means Hill of the Grasshopper, it's one of the largest public parks in the world, at least 10 times central park in NY. The eternal green forest of Mexico City keeps a lot of secrets and incredible sites. Including a Zoo and 10 Museums, like the national archaeological museum, the natural history museum, modern and contemporary art museums, and the national history museum which is also the only Royal Castle in America.

The great green lung of the city tells its history through its trees, lakes, and main avenues like Reforma. A place which seems to don't have a beginning or an end. A place for the lovers, for the kids, and their families, for the friends, for the old and the young. Peace and joy coexist in this rare Oasis on the west side of the city. Where all of us had lived at least once in a lifetime an unforgettable moment, which has become a collective memory of the park visitors, and the forest on its own.

For a really long time, the village of Taxco has been a significant representative of Mexico's picturesque towns full of history and folklore. Every corner and street here has its legends and secrets. Fully white painted with its orange clay rooftops and black signboards in every store, over its flawless white walls. Their coloured stone streets and the pink quarry XVII buildings, make this place a shiny destination like all the silversmiths you can find here.

For most people, myself included, Taxco represents the tradition and the history of living through its streets and buildings. It's a marvellous place taken from the old legends and tales that our grandparents told us, a place where literally time still stood. With a unique gastronomy, fully detailed artistry, and Mexico's perfect weather. Taxco as Tepoztlan gets a place in the heart of everyone who visits it.

Teotihuacan has always been considered a milestone in Mexican culture and history. This millenary city is well known because of its energy, mysticism and its secrets. Its iconic architecture has made this place one of the most famous archaeological zones all around the world. Major events have been happening here for ages, this is a place where culture and people from everywhere get together!

For me, I could call this place the Mexican Athens, its development as a major civilization give lots of improvements to our country and humanity, as an architect I could say that every time I came here, I felt connected with my own prehispanic roots, I feel like I've been here for ages, through my ancestors and my traditions. I can say that everyone who comes here wherever they come can feel that connection because since its own name Teotihuacan means, THE PLACE WHERE HUMANS BECOME GODS, so more than a race or a nationality, but humanity is the major link for us.

Tepoztlan is well known because of its perfect weather, a very important gay destination. its beautiful streets cover in green by trees and the beautiful plazas with gardens full of flowers, mountains, many gay pool parties, hot saunas, gay spas and a lot of history you can find wherever you go. 

Tepoztlan is a very magical town, surrounded by majestic mountains which are crowned by Tlahuicas pyramids on their tops. You can feel fantastic energy in this place, with a kaleidoscopic mix of nature and vernacular architecture. Temazacales which are Aztec hot saunas with medical herbs, spas and "charged quartz" are the most in this peaceful and colourful town its relaxed customs and habits made it look as if time has still stood.

The stone-paved streets, the wood-carved doors, the trees covered by flowers and the floating gardens. make from the neighbourhoods of Coyoacan and Xochimilco a living painting.

Coyoacan has been also the major cradle of Mexican muralism and painting, with great masters like Diego Rivera, Juan O'Gorman and of course, Frida Kahlo, who had their own workshops and houses in this iconic place. Surrounded by colonial-style buildings, palaces and churches. This neighbourhood seems to be full apart from the urban context and chaos of the city, its artistry markets, nostalgic cafeterias and traditional restaurants will wonder yourself.

Xochimilco otherwise, is the place where traditions from our ancestors and the Mexican vibe for FIESTA get together. Sailing through its streams on a Trajinera covered in flowers, going through its green chinampas, listening to live Mariachi heart-moving songs, while having a tequila or mezcal and sharing with AMIGOS authentic Mexican food.
